Holidays in Cornwall introduced us to a wide variety of uses for Land-Rovers, all seemed to be modified to suit the task in hand.
Lands-End Tourist Attraction has this Range-Rover 2 door Pick-up with Wide Alloy Wheels, flared arches and late model grille & spoiler.

Holywell Bay beach has two hardworking Land-Rovers there every day through the summer.
The Lifeguards use a Series III with 235/70 tyres for the sand and a roofrack used to carry equipment and to act as a lookout platform.

Refeshments are served at "The Oasis" (check the registration). This Series II Forward Control has a back body specially made by Snell Trailers for catering.

British International helicopters use two Series IIIs as Tenders at the Heliport at Penzance.
A pick-up is used to tow the Sikorsky S61N helicopters around the hanger and landing areas.
A 6 wheel Stage 1 is used for fire fighting duties.

The 2001 Holidays gave us a chance to try driving on the right (or as was frequently called "on the right! on the right!) in France. Plenty of Rovers but no Pics.
